Mattel Creations Shogun Masters Skeletor is based on Skeletor, (/ˈskɛlɪtɔːr/)  a fictional character and the main antagonist of the Masters of the Universe franchise created by Mattel, serving as the archenemy of He-Man. He is typically depicted as a blue-skinned humanoid who wears a purple hood over his bare-bone skull. Skeletor is determined to gain the powers of Castle Grayskull and rule the universe; however, the incompetence of his henchmen is always an impediment to achieving his ambitions.

The Mattel Creations Shogun Masters Skeletor is molded in purple and blue plastic with a yellow painted skull face. The right first shoots from the right cuff. The legs and shoulders, in true Shogun Warriors fashion hold missiles via missile banks, much like those found on Great Mazinga. The missiles may be fired from the head of Skeletor's staff. Surprisingly, the figure also has wheels under the feet - the attention to detail is amazing. Besides a colorful fully-printed 6-sided box, the figure came in a printed shipping carton
