Popy XX Jumbo Machinder Secret Case

This interesting accessory features all the Popy-released jumbo machinder fists XX-1 through XX-10. The black vinyl case looks a bit like a traditional salesman sample case with a flip-top. Two attache- case style clasps holds the case together on the front of the flap while a handle on the top provides a way to carry the rather awkward package.

The case opens to reveal compartments on either side, each holding about half the accessories in custom vacuformed recesses, along with the various ammunition. There's a plastic cover over each side to help keep things from falling out and mixing but they don't keep things too stable, especially when pulling up the sides to close the case. There's also a clear vinyl sheet holder integrated in the middle that shows what's supposed to be in each compartment. Interestingly some of the items are shown in non-production colors - I'm assuming that this case was planned very early-on and the artwork reflects the original planned colors.

This was one of those things I've coveted for years - going back to when I first started picking up some of the Popy accessory packs. It's also quite an expensive thing and difficult to find complete and in great condition - as you can see mine shows quite a bit of wear, but I've very glad to have picked it up at a reasonable price.
